‘There’s A Lot Of Anxiety’: Crowds Gather Outside Derek Chauvin Trial

Minneapolis, MN - Reporting from the first day of the Derek Chauvin trial in Minneapolis where nearly a thousand protestors marched through the streets demanding justice for George Floyd.

Floyd, an unarmed Black man, was arrested outside a convenience store last May -- the viral video of former Minneapolis Police Officer Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck while he yelled "I can't breathe" prompted protests across the city for almost a year.

Chauvin is charged with the death of Floyd. Rallies and protests are planned throughout the trial, which will likely last until late April or early May, pending a possible delay.
